A microchip is a small RFID device placed under a pet’s skin. It stores a unique ID that, when scanned, helps reunite lost pets with their owners via the EAKC Microchip Database. Essential for identifying stolen or disputed pets.
Microchipping is mandatory for pedigree Rottweilers, Labradors, and GSDs in breeding programs.

Register imported dogs, litters, single dogs, ownership transfers, and request replacement documents. This ensures traceability and authentication within the canine community.

Importing improves local breeds; exporting ensures global recognition. Proper pedigree documentation is required for both. UK-bound dogs must be microchipped and registered with EAKC.

Hip scoring evaluates the degree of hip dysplasia. Scores range from 0 (best) to 106 (worst). A low score indicates a strong build and is vital for responsible breeding.
Apply for a pre-filled Hip Score form at the EAKC office.

Held 3 times a year with international judges. Shows evaluate dogs against international breed standards. Champions earn certificates—essential for breeding credibility.
